About Prairie Valley Gundogs, LLC

We put a lot of thought into our breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We only breed German Shorthaired Pointers that meet the GSPCA's standards for health, temperament, and conformation. We will have, on average, one litter per year, and we will not breed unless we plan on keeping a puppy from that litter to further our breeding program. Our goal for our breeding program is to provide biddable, eager-to-work gundogs that also make great house companions. For that reason, Prairie Valley puppies will only be placed in homes of active upland hunters. We raise our litters in our home with guidance from The Puppy Culture Handbook, carefully and intentionally exposing puppies to all sorts of different people, places, things, and noise during appropriate times.
