Bred with HEART- DM Clear Odom's GSDs of Texas responsibly breeds World Champion Czech working line with East German DDR/American sportline GSDs. They have now produced their 3rd generation under the Odom kennel name. As a partner for almost 30yrs in her family's kennels- the most recent Seals Kennels of Oklahoma and previously (Norman's) Snowfire Kennels of Magnolia, Texas, Dani Norman-Odom became very particular about her GSDs. Odom's GSDs are the ideal- higher level intelligence, medium to high drive with the potential to learn complex roles or patiently withstand the grooming from a 3 year old, with the most value in loyalty to their humans. A strong healthy build, no slope of the back, agile with graceful maneuvers as well as even temperaments were the goal. These traits allow for an adaptability to any life. Puppies easily grow into active/leisure/service and companions to a human family, they are quick to learn commands and have strong "praise drive" with potential for high "ball/prey drive". Previous litter's puppies are learning or performing in roles of family protector and companion, search and rescue, therapy and medical service dog, as well as agility, obedience, tracking and IPO style showmanship. Odom's Kennels prides itself on matching each individual puppy with the lifestyle and human companion that best suit their personalities and strengths and firmly believes that every puppy has a purpose. From the grand-dam: high drive athleticism that never fails to perform, quick intelligence that is easily trained, straight back with strong profile, and ideal dark faced black and silver sable with plush coat. From the grand-sire: medium drive that is noticeably more patient and observative, inate protection skills of a born guard dog, extreme loyalty and emotional bond to humans, straight back with strong hips and a long coated black and red sable. Our second generation continues with a companion line that has a less driven personality but still highly intelligent and human focused with natural protective instincts. They are all sable and have plush to long coats.
